【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoverspracticesandimagequalitymeasuringsystemsforthedetection,display,andrecordingofCRdatafiles.Thesedatafiles,usedinmaterialsexamination,aregeneratedbypenetratingradiationpassingthroughthesubjectmaterialandproducinganimageviaastoragephosphorimagingplate.AlthoughthedescribedradiationsourcesarespecificallyX-rayandgamma-ray,thegeneralconceptscanbeusedforotherradiationsourcessuchasneutrons.Theimagedetectionanddisplaytechniquesarenonfilm,buttheuseofahardcopyasameansforpermanentrecordingoftheimageisnotprecluded.1.2Thisguideisfortutorialpurposesonly.Itoutlinesthegeneralprinciplesofcomputedradiology(CR)imaginginwhichluminescenceisemittedbyastoragephosphorimagingplate,bymeansofphotostimulationafterthedetectorhasbeenpenetratedbyx-raysorgammaradiation.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificsafetyprecautionarystatements,seeSection7.
